Disc: Seas the Day!Chaos Collection: H20 I like to use music to connect with things that INTEREST me. I enjoy finding songs that match a feeling that I’M FOCUSED on or something I AM learning about. When creating each chaos COLLECTION i start with a theme or idea and then think of songs that fit. then i listen to the playlist while i create. i find inspiration from the music and choose the colors and the and figures.

embracing the chaos within my studio:
chaos discs were my first entries into my art career and are still my favorite pieces to create.
making each disc mixes two of my favorite things: painting and music. When i create a disc i am able to relax my brain and let go of the weight of structure and expectation. it’s just me my paints and my favorite songs
with each disc i pay homage TO A song that resonates with me on a deep level, these pieces display how each song makes me feel. it is my love letter to the song and its creator.
The birth of chaos:
My husband and I were gifted previously owned Vinyl records from a family member who was in the process of minimizing their space. We were so thrilled to receive the newest additions to our collection, but upon arrival we quickly learned that some of them were damaged beyond repair. Refusing to part with them I experimented, looking for ways we could still enjoy our Vinyl, and thus Chaos Discs were born and I am pleased to share my creations with Art and Music ENTHUSIASTS alike.
